Scotland – Long Weekend – 2021
Once again, we will be heading up to Scotland to enjoy some of the country’s best biking roads.
This year it will be a long weekend based in Moffat. leaving on Friday 27th August and returning on Monday 26th August (bank holiday).
We will leave Wolverhampton Friday morning and head up through Shropshire, before joining the M6 for approx. 35 miles to get around Warrington, Wigan, and Preston. We will then take the back roads through Lancashire and Cumbria before crossing the border and heading to Moffat.
Saturday and Sunday Two full days riding on some of the best roads in often overlooked area of the country: The Scottish Borders and Dumfries and Galloway.
The run on both days will leave at 9.30 from the car park just to the south of the town on the A701 near the ESSO garage.
Because of the vast array of accommodation available in Moffat, this year I am leaving everyone to book their own. B&B’s are available from around £35.00 per night up to 3* hotels at around £90.00 per night. There are also a couple of local camp sites.
This is a riding holiday we will cover approx. 1000 miles in the 4 days and is only suitable for more experienced riders.
